Jordison | Frank Lloyd | | | He is the son of Dr Robert Jordison, of Hornchurch, Essex. He was born July 28, 1866, at Hornchurch, and was educated at the Albert Memorial College, Framingham, Suffolk. He left England for South Africa in Dec, 1888, and proceeded to Johannesburg, and from there to Bulawayo in 1894. He is one of the pioneers of Rhodesia; served as Lieutenant, in the '96 Rebellion, and raised the Gwelo Troop of the Southern Rhodesia Volunteers, of which he became Captain, resigning his commission in July, 1903 (medal).
