Hello Meurig
I have got some information so far but unfortunately i have not been able to find his grave. There isn't any record of his grave. This confuses me because from what the family at the time have been told is that he was acting as a dispatch rider when he ran into an ambush where he was injured and later died in a hospital from his wounds. I assume if he died in a hospital there should be some sort of record of his grave. I am also trying to locate his medal and if it was awarded to his widow?
I have already got some info from the kind people on this site. I would also like to know what information could be available 117 years after his death.
Thanks
Brendan
