The NSW Imperial Bushmen; one of my very most favourite Regiments. Recruited from experienced bushmen candidates in various country districts in NSW. It was a successor contingent to the NSW Citizen's Bushmen; that had been largely found to be - according to newspaper reports - city dwellers and not truly "bushmen".
NSWIB had some travel through Rhodesia with a bit of action and then went into the Western Transvaal and a full scale guerilla war. NSWIB acquitted themselves in a very hard school and were so well thought of that they were often broken up into small sections to act as scouts and the like. I suggest you access the unit information panel to the left of the main screen to read Stirling's digest of service of this crack regiment from his landmark work "The Colonials in South Africa".
Concerning the list of names in your post, I assume you obtained them from Murray (Australian Contingents). OK as far as it goes - not far in many cases. A much better resource is the on-line OZ-BOER database and there I find -
Your GF - 1411 L/Cpl William Fuller, A Coy, NSWIB, farmer, born Bendigo Vic and applied to join the regiment at Gulgong.
Others - 64 L/Cpl. William John Mackenny A Sqn, 2 sec., NSWIB, a currier born 1868, Bathurst NSW. More info on OZ-Boer.
269 Cpl. Robert Payne A Sqn NSWIB, born 1868, Liverpool England, later served Steinaecker's Horse. More info on OZ-Boer.
108 Pte. Alexander Campbell Wallace, A Sqn, 2 secn., NSWIB, a stockman born 1866 Parkes, NSW
49 Pte. Albert G. Hudson A Sqn., 1 secn., NSWIB, a selector (small farmer) born 1880, Alexandria NSW.
In certain cases, unit photographs of the various contingents were published in the Australian Town and Country Journal and reproduced on OZ-BOER database. In many cases, the individual members are identified according to the index. I have trawled through those of A Squadron, NSWIB (familiar territory to me from past experience) and have done my best with my small SONY. Unfortunately, the reproductions from the AT@CJ are rather dark and a bit muddy.
Later tonight and where I can, I will post pics of those men you have labelled "possibles" and see if you can link them up.
Regards
IL.

Unfortunately, there was no pic available on AT@CJ for 269 Cpl. R.Payne and that of 49Albert G. Hudson's A Sqn, Sec.1 was really too murky to do him any justice. Please feel free to check OZ-Boer db for yourself. Regarding L/Cpl. W.J.Mckenny, see
Having trouble with yhe Wallace pic.

Regarding the group/individual pics of 108 Pte. A. Wallace from the AT@CJ, I attach the following:

The best I could do, given the reproduction.
Once, it was possible to get better images from an ALH site. I tried that and it now regrettably off-line.

IL.
