John Frederick Kearley was born in 1873
I think the WW1 connection may be for his son.
John Frederick Kearley.
You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.
Best regards,
Dave

Dave - you are correct - just found on Ancestry the WW1 service records for JFK 4899 which show he was 19 years 5 months old when he enlisted on 10th May 1915. He was discharged medically unfit - the full reason is difficult to read but it definitely contains "tuberculosis of the ??? hip".

Further research shows JFK junior was also interred in Rose Hill Cemetery in 1972 followed by his wife in 1991 and his unmarried daughter in 1996. The grave diggers were running out of energy by 1972 as they started at only 7ft 6inches. I could have attended the last two burials if I had known about them whilst visiting my local B&Q. This is all getting a bit gruesome.

David.

Point 3 of 3 - to finally put him to rest 9ft under the ground with another lady on top of him and then his wife! In all my hours spent on Ancestry i never come across such a document before.

Paupers' graves can have other, unrelated, burials over them, at least at Willesden New Cemetery.

And I'd intended to remove that speculative date of birth this morning!
