Could you get one less if you include a 2nd Royal Fusiliers that was with Barton's Brigade and had ROL, ROM, TH, OFS & TV?

Doug,

Since this question was posed, I have been thinking of possible combinations to reduce the number of QSA.

In theory the absolute minimum number of QSAs would be 3 because of the restriction of the Relief and Defence clasps. Barton's Fusiliers would help with this as would the ILH but you would need multiple clasp medals.

More research needed I think.

This is probably not in the spirit of this thread!

It is noted as a specimen medal so I am not sure why there are quite so many copy clasps?

Hi David....

The medal that is located in the Glenbow Museum is named "GIFT OF THE MASTER OF THE MINT"..... There was a large collection of medals that had all the possible bars added and again from the Mint..... They originally came from the RUSI collection is what I understand...…

The 24 clasp QSA sold just now at Spink for a hammer price of £1400 which I thought was rather a lot given that the majority of the clasps are copies.
