Hi All,

This is way out of my normal collecting and researching area but what would the normal style of naming be on a QSA awarded to a Civilian Right Reverend?

Would it be impressed or engraved?

Regards

Hello Paul and Mike,

Thank you both for the replies.

This particular medal is engraved and this is how I thought that it should be. It is also confirmed via the roll and has an interesting story attached. I will enlighten you all later if it lands in my letterbox!!

Mike, good luck with finding the third type specimen :)

If this is the medal to McSherry (Hugh) I've an idea that there are quite a number of chaps prepared to "go big or go home" on this one.

Will be interesting to see who walks away with the spoils.

Regards

Rory
