Not being as experienced and knowledgeable as you fellas I can tell some are obvious copy's but some don't become obvious until a Genuine clasp is put up against it? It's a minefield! And why would a big auction house advertise an item as Genuine when it's not? For the sake of a sale but the cost of its reputation?

On a renamed CIV medal (centre) sold recently (to me!) by Chilcotts. The renaming was identified but not the clasps. Refunded without question.
