I was bidding on the Kenny QSA but it went way too high for me. £868 including charges? I don't think so. That's what I paid only 3 years ago for a similar medal to a man in the 5th Lancers who died of wounds sustained at Wagon Hill.

There was a fair bit of interest in the McGinnis QSA with 9 bidders. I held the lead up to £645, then petaled out! An interesting medal but I'd rather use near enough 800 quid to chase my own fields of interest. You could get a decent KIA for that money.
But well done to the buyer if you are a forum member reading this post!

QSAs with clasp Elandslaagte, particularly in groups, appear to be 'on the move' again pricewise.

I think I would like an example, but difficult to decide to which Regiment - probably make a good case for Gordons/Devons.

I have a number of QSA's, some in groups, with the Elandslaagte clasp - to mostly Colonial outfits - Imperial Light Horse, Natal Mounted Rifles, Natal Carbineers and, on the Boer side, an ABO to the Fordsburg Commando
