The Spink online auction has opened. The QSA to Lt Judd, Driscoll's Scouts, had already reached a bid of £500. The auction closes in another 10 days, at which time the catalogue for the next, full Spink auction should be available

The auction closed today and Lt Judd's medal sold for a hammer price of £900. A Wepener casualty before his commission and a very nice medal.

Here is a 4 clasp incl. WEPENER to 565 T. O'sullivan Cape M.R.
Medal has been heavily lacquered. I used a finger nail on the rim with some success.
