Hi forum members,
I know Adrian is the Cape Police expert but I throw the request out to anyone that can help please.
I bought a QSA this morning to 2407 Pte.J.Steel Cape P.D.1 with a single clasp C.C.
I think I have found him on the medal rolls on Ancestry listed as Stell correct number, I am assuming this is just a mispell, it shows as Steel on the roll.
Just wondering if anyone could offer any more info on him.

Medal and clasp verified in WO100/240 page 233, you can get candidates papers etc which will give you the basic info you require, I sure Adrian will help you.
