QSA: CC, OFS, TR, SA01 – Pte. T.H. Knuckey, CMSC.

Knuckey T H Private Served to 17 Jul 01.

Knuckey served in the "Irregular" Company of the CMSC. Does anyone know what the "Irregular" Company did and where they were stationed? Thanks in advance for any insight. Cheers, John

Jon,

There are some papers for the CMSC but no one for him that I can see sadly.

David,
I have just got the winning bid on the QSA to 34 Corporal H. Harms of the C.M.S.C.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that there might be attestation papers extant for him!
I should be very grateful if you could find the time to have a look please.
All I have so far is very basic detail from Findmypast.
Cheers Steve

Steve,

I must apologise as I missed this post.

I have looked this morning and there is no attestation paper for him. With number 24 he must have been an early recruit. The attestation papers I can see have 5 digit regimental numbers so much later in the life of the CMSC.

He has no entry in the (short) nominal roll either.

Sorry
David
