In spite of very aggressive bidding I was fortunate in adding the Burrows pair to my collection many years ago.
I am still looking for a good photo and biographical data ré Mr Burrows

Hi Henk

Your man was Joseph Burrow, born in England in about 1865 - died in Port Nolloth in 1937, a retired Engineer on the Cape Copper Company mine. I will send more details later - after my retirement function tonight....
