Described as:

Cape Town Highlanders Glengarry Badge. A good and scarce die stamped white metal Victorian example, circa 1885-1902, with tartan cloth backing, with an Order of the Thistle star bearing a garter strap inscribed with ‘Cape Town Highlanders’, with a bulbous thistle and yellow cloth backing to the voided centre, the reverse with two large toned loop fixings.
