Indeed. Hammer price of GBP 700 equated to totals (VAT UK only): GBP 902. R19,500. Au$1,750. Can$1,600. US$1,140.

Served in Capt. Bearcroft's naval brigade.
MID Lg 24/ 5/1901 ERRATUM ADmiralty 23/5/1901 page 3561.
Gunner John Johnson should hsve been recorded instead of Gunner Harry Johnson.
TT jeans book also contains this error in its appenidices aswell ?
Seen similar go for much more.
