If you have a look at the Driscoll's Scouts nominal roll you can see that John Allander only joined the unit in January 1901, well after Wepener.

It is amazing how this medal has travelled around the world . This QSA was part of my original collection. Sold by Kaplan in 2000, Sold by Spinks UK in 2017 I think then in Western Australia and now back in SA.
