Following on from your original thread here is another example of "upside down" naming on a QSA:



860 Cpl HJ Graham, Imperial Light Infantry

According to the rolls the medal was issued in 1902.

I have just found an "upside down " QSA in a batch I bought online.

And they still crop up very occasionally! Your example makes five. Perhaps best termed "a minor rarity"?
