QSA (1) Natal (2240 Sejt D.E. Tidey, W. York: Regt)

David Edward Tidey, of Shoreham, Sussex, served with the 2nd Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment, was wounded in action at Willow Grange, Natal, on 23 November 1899.

To England, 2 April 1901.

Natal listed on WO100/175p267. SA01 listed on WO100/175p246

M&E say he attested for Great War service on 11 August 1914, but it is not clear whether he saw active service.
