Two images from the Illustrated London News, February 1901 depicting LSH lining the route of procession to mark the opening of Parliament by Edward VII. The second from the following day when the King presented the Colours to the regiment.

There was an article in the current issue of Medal News which I wrote with the help of Mike.

I have just been contacted by someone to say they have a raised date medal to Strathcona's Horse which has never been on the market so the article is hours old and out of date!

It will be useful if it helps to identify hitherto unknown medals.
