I have read the messages above from a number of years ago. I am researching William Henry Darling and have information that he lived in Egypt after leaving the army for the rest of his life.

If you are still receiving updates from posts on this site, I would be keen to understand if you are a descendant of his family who emigrated from Egypt to New Zealand or another a branch of his family and share information.
