Im interested in a 6 clasp QSA medal with the following clasps:
Belfast
Diamond Hill
Johannesburg
Driefontein
Modder River
Belmont

The medal is issued to 594 Pte T Caives Scotts Guards
This is all the info I have, I did check the archives WO100/165 but have not found him...
Is this a dud?!
Many thanks

Looks OK to me. Found him on page 24 of WO100/165; first name Thomas. Clasp entitlement as mentioned.

Thomas Caives's papers are on Findmypast. He's also entitled to a KSA.

An eighteen year old cotton spinner from Preston, on the face of it, perhaps a most unlikely recruit for the Scots Guards, notwithstanding, he was five feet and nine and a half inches tall, a good example of a Guards Brigade medal, absolutely typical, I should be happy with it if I were you.
