Sadly no "burnt" file exists and the pickings are slim, research-wise, although he was issued with a SWB for Sickness of which I have the record.

Okay, that's nice, always good to have a family group, no matter whatsoever the regiment/corps maybe, they have remained together and therefore have been cared for a considerable number of years.
