Hi This is my first post to what seems to be an excellent forum. If I am posting this in the wrong place, apologies. I have a Boer War Tribute medal to a casualty. There is no name mentioned on it or the name of any town. I also have the QSA and KSA. Is it ok to post a picture of the medal in this forum to see if anyone knows anything about it.?

The medals are to William Heydon - Oxf & Bucks LI He came from Banbury. I also have his brothers medals who fought in Boer War. This is the tribute medal.

This is a medallion by Emil Fuchs, not a tribute medal for a particular person or from a particular town.

Shetland
You may already know this; however the Palmer casualty roll shows "3701 Pte.W.Heydon" of 1st Oxfordshire L.I. as Dying of Disease at Bloemfontein on 18.06.1900. The Fuchs medal is a nice bit of work.
Regards
IL.
