I bought this one for no other reason than that I'd never heard of Marshall's Horse, but the unit information on the site showed that they had seen a lot of action in Cape Colony in 1901, which fits nicely with this man's clasps. At present I have no information about him. If anyone can supply any details, I'd be very pleased.

The QSA is listed on WO100/258p110. The CC clasp is ticked.

There is a note saying: Medal and clasps CC &SA01 issued 25-1-19 to Mr F P Rogers, c/o Mrs Redver, 545 West 50th Street, New York, USA, JV (??) 481 68/SA/4013.

Does the naming reflect a later issue, Patrick?

The naming would be more like the style found on the BWM.
