Many thanks for your reply. Yes I totally agree the postmark date looks like 1921, but the card was sent on 20 Dec 1907, which unfortunately isn't clear as it is where I have cropped the card for the photos! (07 is at the end of the line under "England"). They were only at that address for a year or so, and I have found the death cert today for the recipient (his father Walter) as having died in 1912.
I believe you are spot on for the Red Star Line as after my original post, I found that Walter had been Chief Steward on the SS Zeeland in 1908, another Red Star Line ship, and would explain the uniform, and the star on the cap badge.
