Thank you for drawing my attention to this one. It is a beauty.
Where was "K" Company based? I normally list regimental pieces according to the locations of their HQ's.
I assume they were a volunteer company.
Also, any chance of some better photos for the database?

Good Morning Neville......

Yes he was from Toronto...... 2 Q.O.R. was one of the Regular Regiments of the Canadian Army at that time....
He volunteered to serve in the 1st Special Battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment......

The Queen's Own Rifles were the 2nd Regiment of infantry formed in Canada that is why they have the number 2.....
