Philip - by "Worcester" do you mean the City itself or the County. The father & grandfather of "my" William Kendrick were both born in Droitwich, Worcestershire - so there could be a connection. David.

David my man was born Worcester, but was residing in Ledbury when he enlisted in The army just a coicidance with the name William Kendrick and Worcster
