Judy,
It is not a service record as such, it is just a document that he has signed when he joined, or should I say was "accepted" into the Imperial Light Horse, it set out the pay and conditions as well as his allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Victoria.
I suspect because of the entries in WO100 and WO127 there might well be a discharge sheet for him too.
I agree with Brett, who is "Our Man in Natal" and is also a gentleman who knows more about the Imperial Light Horse than most of us!
Please feel free to post a picture of his QSA, we would love to see it on here, the fight at Wagon Hill was a vicious and desperate affair.
Again Regards Frank

Thank you so much for the information re my grandfather's wounding at Waggon Hill - a place I have never heard of before. I will try to obtain his service record from Kew.
