Private A.J. Roberts of Oamaru is listed as a member of the 4th NZ Contingent. I am unable to gain further information about AJ who is possibly a close relative becuase the name ties in with anecdotal but unverified history. I am a new member of the forum trying to clarify an important piece of family history from Australia. All I will need is what the initials stand for. But of course I will be most grateful for any other data.
Sincerely
macker

Good morning and welcome,
Roberts is shown twice in WO100, but, in both, only the initials are given.
Regards Frank

Thank you Frank. Do you know a site which might have the relevant details? I have tried the NZ Archives site but unless I have got my access process wrong (which unfortunately is likely) the data does not appear to be available.

Thanks again Frank, I was wondering where the full given names behind the 'AJ' might be promulgated? That is probably going to give me the information I need.
