That's a great picture of him.

Its interesting to note the average age of the men at the 50th Anniversary Reunion was 78. I was expecting the average to be more in around the 72 area.

Yes, Dmr does stand for Drummer.

anyone know if the miltary records survived from the Boer War (i heard there was a fire)? maybe i should try and dig them out?

I have his discharge certificate which says he was a Sgt. and had one wound stripe but that could have been from WWI i suppose.
