Hello Nikonitis and welcome to the forum.

I can add that 9353 William Henry Turner was invalided to pension, presumably through sickness, and he has a big file in the PIN 71 series at the National Archives. These aren't available online so you'd have to either visit the NA in person or get a researcher to get the file for you. I use a specialist researcher to dig these files out for me and can PM you his details if you wish.

William's file reference is PIN 71/5781. He enlisted in 1891 and died in 1931.

From my experience these files run from 40 pages to 300 pages but the average is about 120.

David
