Thank you! That is very similar to my guesses as to what the tattoos say. I found this very interesting article about Dundee women at that time and their tattoos: www.citylifedundee.com/2018/02/16/the-ta...women-of-juteopolis/
It certainly suggests that initials and dots, hearts and other imagery were reasonably common.
