I went through the 22, Henry William, William Henry and Henry Wilsons in Find My Past for the Boer War and could not find any who had deserted or disappeared..... That is taking it that is the name used in the Boer War...... There are over 2000 H.W. Wilson in WW1......

Hello Scratch
Can you provide any details on his WW1 history? Do you have any idea which service he was with ? Could he have served in the Royal Defence Corps ?

Regards

Dave
