Scored a 1900 QV Choc Tin from a Tasmanian Imp Bushman. Rough and ready MT tin (much loved) which appears to be a Frys Tin. Did not pay much, very happy to have one in the collection. Post up a pic as soon as I can.

Pic of the said Choc Tin above. No proof that this belonged to a Tasmanian Imp Bushman other than purchased from the State. Hoping a QSA or two was contained within. Unfortunately no such luck.

A great purchase Stephen.

Wouldn't it have been nice to find a few QSAs in there too. I'm sure those tine do exist somewhere. It's finding them that is the problem.

Best wishes

The first thing I did when I got home after buying my framed one was to remove it and open it up hoping it contained an item or two of militaria.....sadly just a few minute chips of 100 year old chocolate :(

Gentlemen,
The only tin that I have that actually contained something was this one, a bit of a let down as the contents consisted of a handful of Repubulican sixpence's :(

Stephen,
Well done on your new addition, a nice one.
I do like these tins, I find them very tactile, to think about their history is quite something.

Paul :)
