Many congratulations, Mike, never mind about the content of the five thousandth post, good collections are only built up over many years, so it does not matter if nothing has come your way, how did you get on with Colonel Hugget I wonder?

I agree with you regarding this site, although, excepting work, I have to say the bloody dustbins have been out more than I have these days and I would love nothing more than to "spread my wings" however they do appear to have been well and truly clipped.

I remember many years ago before the internet and email we used to write a lot of letters and waited in many cases a couple of months before we were able to get a reply to the research questions and in many cases it only brought up many more questions.....

With thanks to the members here and David's and his Late Brothers fantastic forum we have been able to expand our knowledge and really spread our wings.......
