Now checked with the memorial transcriber - no other Boer war memorials in the Rotherham area BUT.....

during my newspaper browsing I have seen references to the unveiling of a previously unknown memorial tablet at Clifton Park Museum, where the archives are now situated. I have made enquiries and hope to unearth this lost treasure which lists the names of all those who volunteered for service. Though the names are in the article describing the unveiling it would be great to see the actual tablet.
