In the Church of the Holy Cross, Scopwick, Lincolnshire.

In loving memory of
ARTHUR WILLIAM HALL F.R.S.C.E D.
of Durban, Natal.
Second son of the Vicar of this Parish,
Born 26 th May 1861 Died 20 th March 1900.
For some years Surgeon to the Durban Light Inft ry
He died of enteric fever while on active service during the Boer War.
His body lies in the Churchyard of Mooi River.

"BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART: FOR THEY SHALL SEE G OD"

This Tablet is erected by his wife and his father.

BereniceUK Topic Author Offline Senior Member Posts: 3365 Thank you received: 2335	It was Brett who told me it was there, I just went and photographed it. Looks like it's been over-zealously cleaned through the years, I assume that's what the markings on the plaque have been caused by.
