The frame is quite weighty, so hard to asess if tin has any weight, however there is no obvious movement of anything inside with a gentle shake.

I have decided to leave as is and just enjoy looking at it as was meant to be.

Owen, Imo best to treat it as a well-dressed pretty woman who may or may not disappoint once undressed. I think you took the right decision to leave it to the imagination.

Owen, good choice to leave as-is. If you have any dentists, vets etc in your family or friends you can ask them to X-ray it. I’ve seen them do that to verify collectable unopened iPhone boxes.
