I’m seeking more reference material.

I wonder if anyone owns a copy of “The featherbed soldiers: The New South Wales Lancers in the Boer War 1899-1902” and wouldn’t mind photographing the pages concerning the Colesberg Operations?

Does anyone own a copy of THE FIFTH (ROYAL IRISH) LANCERS IN SOUTH AFRICA 1899-1902?

I know that a portion of the Regiment, perhaps only about seventy-five officers and men were operating with Major General John French in the Colesberg area in November 1899. I would like to know if this small group are mentioned in this book.

Neville_C Offline Administrator Posts: 1991 Thank you received: 3352	Ian, I have had a quick look at the chapter headings and it seems Willcox only deals with the Natal Operations (Elandslaagte, Siege of Ladysmith, etc.) and the adavance north through the Transvaal.
