I think among the members of the "A Boer family of sharpshooters in Johannesburg", two lads are wearing the uniform of the Johannesburg Vrijwilliger Corps. A note of caution: Recently, fake badges of Pretoria, Krugersdorp and Ermelo Vrijwilliger Corps have appeared. These badges are considered to be fantasy items designed to deceive high-end collectors - they never existed, and are derived from JVC badges. The image shows a fake badge from the Pretoria Vrijwilliger Corps
