Our immediate family is together again for a short time, so we are indeed having a very happy Christmas holiday.

Thanks, yes, I am also a little late in Wishing all the Forum member for the Festive Season

Spent most of the day trying to keep cool in the pool and drinking far too many beverages (using the excuse that I need to keep hydrated ) It was 40 degrees around midday, cannot remember such a hot Christmas Day for many a year!

Guys, I too am a little late in wishing you all a very Merry Christmas. I trust that the day was enjoyed by all.

As Brian mentioned, it was in excess of 40 Degrees Celsius yesterday excluding the humidity factor. Spend much of the day knocking back a few too many Peroni's !! . It was so hot that I could not even enjoy a decent ride on my Son in Law's Triumph Bonneville.

According to Sky news there was a solar flare which resulted in very abnormal temperatures over some parts of Africa.

At least today the temp in Durban is decent with the prospect of rain.

Only the "prospect" of rain Adrian, I wish I could send some down to you, certainly no shortage of the wretched thing here, the Met office has issued a yellow warning of snow too!

Had a brown Christmas here but temp was still minus 10 C .....
