2305 TROOPER F. NUTTALL: ROBERT'S HORSE.

A question for David (djb).
I have just acquired the QSA to the above mentioned man. Could you please let me know if his attestation is still extant?

Preliminary searches lead me to believe that there are a couple of errors in the naming of the medal as follows:

Correct naming according to the Nominal Roll on the Roberts Horse page on the forum thus:

2305 TROOPER W. F. NUTHALL (William Frost Nuthall).

No casualty records, but could be onto a good backstory with this.

Fingers crossed as usual!

Cheers,

Steve

Adrian Ellard has all available SA attestation papers for not too much money.

Drop him a line on adrianstevenellard@gmail.com

Steve,

His third page is very unusual.

A very nice 5 clasp medal, Steve.

I wonder what he was doing on 31st March 1900?

You will have seen from the roll he was discharged medically unfit, 14 September 1900. He does not appear to have served elsewhere.

Best wishes
David

Many thanks for posting his attestation. A tantalising thought that he may be a Sannah' Post veteran! Time to scout the internet for any written word.

Very unusual comment on page 3.
I do have a possible theory to research, but will delve deeper before I divulge!
