WO127 states John, he was the obvious man upon looking a check in WO126/55-65 would be needed here.

I've looked through all the J Slattery men and John Slattery is the only one I can see with the RoL clasp. There are no DoL clasps either.

Not sure where to go from here?

I would go with WO127, I doubt very much if an error was made, upon looking at the medal rolls, he was the obvious choice, perhaps a little too obvious, many of those men really did earn their Relief of Ladysmith clasp, hard times!
