Acknowledgements

I think Private A (Alfred James) Hicks was my grandfather. I know he was called back to the colours to serve in the Boer War. He was born at Titchmarsh Northants possibly in April 1866. Is there any way of confirming A Hicks is my grandfather. I obtained details of your site from the Telegraph and it is a refreshing change from the likes of Ancestry Com who have large gaps in their data base. Regards Frank Richards
