I have been saving for a QSA with the Elandslaagte clasp for a while now and finally acquired one at the weekend courtesy of a friend who was keeping this one for me.
The medal in question has been discussed in a thread I raised earlier, below is the link.
www.angloboerwar.com/forum/5-medals-and-...ncerning-date-clasps

3544 Pte.J.Cunningham 1st Batt.Devonshire Regiment.
Private Cunningham died of disease on 2nd March 1900 at Ladysmith (Official casualty roll location: ladysmith)
His memorial is in the Catherdral in Exeter Devon on the North transept tablets.
His QSA has the clasps Defence of Ladysmith and Elandslaagte and strangley SA01 and SA02 to which he could not have been entitled to.
He is listed in David's Elandslaagte book with the two clasp entitlement and noted as deceased.
I have included some images of the rivets to the clasps and images of the clasps themselves for the forums consultation.
I do not intend to have the date clasps removed, I am quite happy to leave them as part of the medals history but I am open to the forum's comments.

Thank you for looking
Paul :)
