The ABW site reaches 5,000 articles 9 months 1 week ago #90882

It has taken a few years but the site reached a landmark today with its 5,000th article.

A recent and strong growth area for the site over the last year has been the work of Neville Constantine on the the Boer War Tribute Medals. His research now encompasses 1,300 medals and is incredibly detailed. An excellent example, made all the more topical by next week's sale at Noonan's, is the National Fire Brigades' Union's Medal which is well worth reading ( www.angloboerwar.com/medals-and-awards/2...-fire-brigades-union ).

You may have noticed that the site's home page has been re-organised today to give more prominence to this unique research. The site is very pleased to be able to host such excellent research and make it available to local historians, collectors and genealogists.
