I am trying a change to the way search works by 1) displaying the first page of search results before the user clicks on the search button and 2) adding more search options so that it is possible to search for up to 5 different items simultaneously (eg surname and regimental number). You can also search the notes eg to find the Sergeants of Ashburner's Light Horse wounded at Klipdrift - there were 3.

This seems to work well on Chrome. I am having intermittent problems using Firefox in that the first page of search results is shown but, when you click next or make a search, 'no results' are found which is incorrect.

Please let me know how you find this change.
