Can't find anything on this unit who, according to a newspaper report (13 March 1901), took part in "the disaster of Tovavater Poort."

Anyone know anything about them, please?

Berenice
18th Bn, I.Y. contained several Coys. titled "Sharpshooters"; 67th, 70th, etc. They served under Gen.Carrington in the RFF.
