Regarding the SAC Badge of Gallantry, excellent photos of the bullion on cloth and metal/cloth awards can be seen in the OMRS Journal for Summer 1995 Vol 34, No 2 (227)the article on pp 140/141 is titled The Martin-Leake Badge Mystery and shows the lack of information available on this award then and now.
