I was under bidder on the Loch's Horse DCM, and was completely blown away by what the Kitcheners Horse DCM went for. I will be able to afford meat this month as a result!

The First Boer War DCM went for a crazy #16,000!

1/3 for me, and at my highest suicide bid:

Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Relief of Kimberley, Paardeberg (2062 Serjt: The Hon: W. Beresford. Roberts Horse).

Still interesting to have an Honourable in with a South African unit! Must have been quite an adventurer. Now to start trying to research him, I have a good feeling about him!

Good luck to you all!

I was also bidding on the Hon Mr Beresford but pleased you have secured it.

I've got a couple of bids coming up but looking at some of the prices that others have gone for, I could be empty handed!

Working from home this afternoon, so all sorts of potential unplanned bids.

Got 1 West Yorks to represent the Natal campaign: 5466 Pte. J. Cousins, W. Yorkshire Regt, sent home as a civil prisoner in 1901 from 4th MI. No papers, so may well never know what happened.
