Just watching the bidding and noticed that, in the new format information, the buyer's premium does not equate to 20%.

Checking the T&C, I see that 'A buyers’ premium of 24% on the hammer price (plus VAT if resident in, or lots are delivered within, the European Union) is payable by the buyer on all lots.'

With VAT on the premium too that a sizeable increase in the cost of purchasing from this auction house.

This change was as of September.

I just won this one for 130 GBP and was able to confirm the single Wittebergen clasp - he also served in the Harrismith Light Horse

That's a nice QSA to the FID and a scarce single clasp, Rory.

Thank you David and to a well-known family from Bethlehem. What attracted me to the medal was that the Boer Forces initially enlisted Archbell in their service and then gave him a discharge!
